Today, I was trying to walk as normally as possible from the bus stop to our class bench. When lynette reached school, she started helping me cuo1 the bruise. Ouch. It was so painful. Imagine, a light brush is enough to make me feel pain, let alone pressing it hard, very hard. I was grabbing and squeezing jiayi's hand all the while. Sorry and thanks jiayi. The rubbing was really very painful. When I reached school, it was purple in colour. After assembly, during the lecture series, it turned red. Thanks lynette for helping me rub, though I must admit that due to the pain, it was extremely hard trying to walk after that.
The lecture series -- a talk centred on Psychiatry by Dr Fung, was quite interesting. Psychiatry is an exciting branch of medicine. In fact, medicine in general is fun. But I must say that the many years that one must put in in order to specialise in a certain branch of medicine certainly isn't very encouraging. 15 years! Yes, 15 years is very long, but with perseverance and a strong love for medicine, it certainly is possible to pull through.
After the talk, most of our class went to play basketball. So sad. Because of the bruise on my leg, I couldn't play...never mind. Will try to recover fast, though my mother is telling me that it will only get worse, not better, over the next few days. Did some pw work with jasmine at the class bench before going down to the basketball court to watch the rest play.
Lessons after the break were maths, physics and chemistry. Maths..hmm.....physics...interesting video, though I was trying quite hard to keep awake. Chemistry....a lot of copying..just like chem equilibrium. More copying to come the next chem lecture.....
Yeah! My srp first draft report has been given the green light by my mentor! Only a few minor changes to make! So happy! At least my many hours spent on it after phy spa didn't go down the drain! Yeah! Thanks to all those who have helped me in my srp project in one way or another, be it doing the surveys, formatting my results etc. Thanks!
