.: Last day of 2004...sigh..... :.

finally met up with jane, casie and gera...feels nice to be together, the 4 of us, again...got my very belated bd prezzie from casie( haha, thanks gal!). exchanged xmas gifts with jane. jane got me a ping2 an1 fu2 from taiwan!!! thanks! really appreciate the gifts a lot...the card too! thanks once again! hmm...today, we met up at plaza singapura at 12pm (casie arrived at 1pm, haha). went to pasta mania to eat...after that...didn't know what to do...gera left halfway through the meal, leaving the 3 of us. just walked round and round and round, starting from the basement level and working our way up one level at a time... the only shops we entered were perhaps the ornamental shops like Precious Thots and maybe some sports shops like FILA and World of Sports. other than that, merely walking past all the shops, getting from one escalator to another, thinking of what we can do next. aft checking out the cinema, sigh...the queue was so very long...gave up...decided to go Starbucks to chat...but not many nice seats, so ended up taking mrt to orchard, went to taka. CoffeeBean..sigh...even more packed haha.... no choice, walked ard ...again....haha.... walked past the food court. thought of my sis. bought 2 slices of cakes from Bengawan Solo for her... she just put on braces, can't eat hard things, just cakes and porridge....yup, went to buy the cakes while jane and casie went to buy drinks from Orange Julius... then we sat at the top of the flight of stairs leading out of taka. chatted a while... then it was 4? yup, ard there. aft an unanimous agreement that the organisation and planning for today's outing was terrible ( haha), we split up and went home.

sigh...2004 has indeed whizzed past, and i mean "whizzzzzzz"..... jc life sure passes by in the twinkling of an eye... indeed, jc life has been fun, always full of surprises, full of hw?, full of all sorts of things..... very busy, that's for sure. my parents have been commenting that i reach home later and later when jc life started...but they have sort of gotten used to it...haha... looking back, it's been an eventful year... start of the year, orientation...rem the eh...joy i felt when i realised i was in the same class as gloria (lower sec classmate) and liming (upper sec classmate). the thing i rem best abt orientation is the white sticky yucky starch...haha..aft orientation..classes, classes and more classes. rem i took quite some time to get used to the "floating" classroom system and lecture system. though there was already the lecture-tutorial system in ny, it felt very diff from the one in hc...then came srp... had to miss family chalet cos of srp congress... lonely time at home those 3 days... rem rushing down to pasir ris one night aft the congress then rushing back again later at night. haha... oh yah, rem the numerous senior-junior class outings we had in the beginning of the year...then jts, and much later, stj...yup...then all other stuff... the numerous tests, block test(my bd on eve of blk test, next year worse, first day of blk test..haha), promos...national day song writing, ge1 yao2..though we didn't win, but victory is not all that counts...fos, same thing, victory not all that counts....homecoming grand carnival...fun! + piano reception and string perf...open hse...perf was a success, yeah! thanks for supporting :) oh yah, still got track and field meet somewhere up there...sigh...so few, if not none, supported us...haha... of cuz, still got nus xperience pharmacy camp...and......class xmas party! how can i forget...haha... cca.....string...only 15 pple, sigh...haha..rem the concert, the practices, the viola jokes... and now end of the year, class cip, memorable experience...yup, quite, if not, very eventful 2004. not sure if i am ready to say bye to 2004 and hi to 2005, but what choice do i have? not much right? haha...it does seem a bit too fast...will take some time (again) before i can write the dates correctly...haha... sigh, reminiscing abt 2004 on the eve of 2005...it's nice going through what u been through in the past year...yup...now to collect ur thought, ur feelings, ur memories and make space for a brand new year! may everyone have an eventful and prosperous year ahead! happy new year everyone :)
