Yeah!!! Chinese New Year is here again!!! Haha... have been looking forward to it...and now, it is finally here!!! haha... wore class polo t to sch today. snapped some photos with the class. borrowed viola scores from yeong hui. thanks! watched the cny performance...eh.actually..... it was more like catching glimpses of the cny performance....haha... oh yah... accompanied liming to distribute her cny cards to the teachers... it was quite funny..... the sight of her going through her pile of look-a-like cards frantically in front of the teacher to look for the correct card..the funniest part was that the teachers whom she gave mandarin oragnes to didn't return her with 2 oranges!!! haha.. so she was down from 6-4 and finally to 2 oranges...haha... luckily mr remedios gave her back 2 oranges as cny wishes......haha...... during the street market, walked ard with liming glo hf and lyn. bought quite a lot of food and shared with the rest-- cup corn, drink, (junior) cookie, sushi, titbit... after a while, left for nanyang together with jane liming gloria weilin and amanda. saw ms wong (wang lao shi), talked to her for a while..... realised she is leaving ny to further her studies somewhere in may next year... hmm..... also saw mr derek tan... still as bubbly as ever.... don't worry mr tan, we will dutifully return every year till we receive ur ang bao!!! haha... saw mrs chua too... but didn't get the chance to talk to her... who else... oh yah.ms lily chua.....yeah she still remembers us... when she pointed at us (jand and me) and said " two years ago one", i was thinking " two year meh? one year only mah". it was not until after a few moments of thought that i realised it really was 2 years ago that i was in ny as a ny student..... wow...time really flies..... at the speed of light....... wanted to see mrs vivien chan, but she went home already..nvm...may pop by her house with jane... still rem i and jane went to house in ...eh..sec 2? yah i think so.....then the first thing i said when mrs chan and her husband opened the door was "happy chinese new year auntie and uncle". well, mrs chan kept laughing and laughing at the phrase "auntie and uncle"... haha..... oh yah, i saw mrs ho (cca teacher) too... hmm..... saw geraldine, anqi, yiyun, wanxuan, casie. crossed the bridge with glo casie and jane. took 961 with casie and gloria...
upon reaching home, i ate lunch, washed up, then napped. woke up, bathed, and started sorta spring cleaning...... first on the list was my piano. yeah... finally get to "bathe" and polish my piano properly in ages..... it's sparkling clean now!!! haha... felt good after polishing it..... yeah!!! but the yellow winnie the pooh and friends coat looks a little too bright and a little on the childish side... hope to get a new piano coat, preferably something classier soon... yeah!!! but not easy to find... too bad i don't have the time and am not equipped with the skill to sew a piano coat... haha... it felt good playing on the polished piano keys too! haha... cheers :)
next on the list, and the most horrible of all, was my table... wah..... for the past few days, whenever i entered my room and saw my table, i would feel "burdened"...stifling... it was packed full of stuff... no choice, had to clear it up no matter what..... was at a loss of how to start... haha....... decided to place everything neatly on my bed first, then categorise them, and then put them into the respective places (subjet files, sch hw file etc). after a long while..... finally...... managed to clear most of the stuff...there is still a pile of stuff which i am not sure where to place yet... but other than that, it's considered done! yeah...
ate renion dinner... steamboat using rice cooker since we couldn't find the wire for the steamboat... dinner was nice! had fun talking over dinner... mummy wanted us to talk abt what we expected of each and every family member--what we wanted the others to change. haha.... my brother....."scold" until very "shuang". first time, and only once in an entire year, when he can "scold" us without being scolded. haha..... much laughter over dinner...fun time :)
aft dinner, sang some cny songs with sis and bro... bro's voice is real low...... sis kept getting influenced by bro's low register.. haha..... it was nice singing together!!! for one moment, mummy actually thought it was the cd playing!!! haha...
changed pillows and boasters... hmm... will have fluffy pillows again... will be quite a while before the pillow starts to show an obvious slant towards one particular side...haha...
am shou3 sui4-ing now... siblings playing... haha...
