~gals vs guys~ :.
~went for a jog with my father at the stadium this evening...on our way there, we passed by a mother with her three children ( one son, two daughters). her younger daughter was making quite some noise, so the mother said in chinese--gals should keep quiet, don't make so much noise---then the older daughter added, in chinese---yah gals should keep quiet, only guys can make noise---to which the mother nodded in agreement................ hmm why is that so? is this a social norm only to be accepted, not to be questioned or challenged? some food for thought -?-
