~had a class outing to sentosa on thursday...met up with jy jess at 11 at harbourfront for lunch..turns out the guys also only left at 11...very sorry guys, i didn't know the guys arranged to meet earlier cos u all wanted to play luge and had thought that the gals didn't want...sorry...
~went for dsta scholarship seminar yesterday with jy g jo jeff yk... as expected, it's 95% engineering stuff...with other areas like mathematics, exercise science, cognitive science... somehow i can't see myself in the engineering sector... mathematics maybe...but one need not only interest but ability too right? hmm...back to square one...had a tour round the DSO building...quite sophisticated-looking...oh yah..i saw zhixiu and yiyun, my sec sch friends :)
~aft the tour, went for lunch with jy jeff yk...nobody knew where to go....so i suggested holland village...wasn't exactly 100% sure how to get there from science park but turned out i had to be the "tour guide". so i just walked walked walked...and brought the other 3 on an "expedition" haha...walking up and down slopes...trying to trace the route me and my "research mates" on the biopolis attachment took the day we went to holland village for lunch....managed to find the place...ended up at a food court for lunch...aft lunch, went walking ard,then back to the mrt...where jeff yk left, while me jy went to city hall
~at city hall, we walked ard f0r a while, before returning to the mrt, this time to marina...
~met up with hf lm jas,then later lyn...went to have dinner with lyn to celebrate her bd @ chong pang. that place brought back fond memories of my childhood...when i was young, my parents would always bring me there, as in, the park nearby to cycle, for picnics etc... it was fun... i dun rem when was the last time i was there...really a very very very long time ago...first time eating buffet style dinner there too...new experience...lm was the veggie-ian , jas the meat-ian , lyn and jy the shell-ian, me and hf eh nothing in particular...haha... aft dinner, wanted to play pool...saw a neoprint machine, tried taking, but the printing was spoilt...guess what, the picture had "clearance sale on it"haha... it was quite late already after the failed neoprint attempt...so after we bought a kite, which we are thinking of flying in school tmr, we went home...
~read liming's book "Tuesdays with Morris" in one sitting...it's nice... was esp struck by one phrase " When you learn how to die, you learn how to live"...thought provoking...
