~had SAT today at singapore american school. i like their classroom. their toilets are clean too. had to walk a long way in to the high school section for the exam. the first thing i did when i reached the school, after finding my classroom, was to look for the toilet. i seem to be the only one going to that particular toilet. maybe it's because it's stated "staff toilet" haha. but really, no one seems to use it. there is no queue whatsoever whenever i use it, which is good =) i was seated right in the front, right next to the door. felt so stupid. i didn't know that for every 25 min section on the exam, someone could be doing eng while another was doing math. so when mine was eng, i was very surprised when i kept hearing calculator noises. i was thinking : why would eng require calculator? and aren't calculators prohibited on an eng section? i very nearly wanted to ask the invigilator. i was scared. i kept looking at the board to make sure that i was working on the right section. then later it struck me...for the same 25 min, someone else could be doing a different section from me, depending on how his or her booklet was printed...so stupid..haha... reached the school at 735am.. exam ended at 1pm!!! it was mentally exhausting...had a hard time trying to prevent my stomach my growling too loudly during the exam...u could hear, distinctly, many growling sounds throughout the exam as the classroom was so quiet haha... yeah SAT over!!!
~after SAT, came home...was real tired. took a nap. then it was busy time!!!
~"bathed" my piano, gave it a new coat of polish, changed it's skin...the covering is now totally black...the covering is expensive! must maintain well...but it's still not my ideal piano covering...wonder if i can make my own next time haha... then cleaned all the cabinets, trophies, photographs...wonder when was the last time these things were cleaned...the trophies were so so so dirty...one had something, i don't know what, growing on it..eeeeks... so dirty.. and my fingers felt very painful after washing and drying the cloth after so many times...had to squeeze dry... then wet then dry..and the cloth was rough..but it felt good when the cabinets looked clean...and the on-display items "changed colour" :p
