~was carrying out a test in a class on wednesday. as usual, i asked if them to check their test papers to see if there were any missing pages. what happened next was really what i hadn't expected. nearly half of the class, or maybe it was half of the class, or maybe a few more than half the class..anyway..MANY hands went up!!! some had page 2 missing, some page 3, others, 4 or 5 or 6.. i was stunned!!! haha... so i changed my copy with the one who had page 2 missing, while i ran up to the staffroom(3rd floor..the classroom was on 1st floor) to find the teacher in charge... she wasn't there....so i checked her timetable...only to realise she was actually just 2 doors down from me!!! so i ran down again to find her. there were no spare copies..so.... i had to copy out all the questions on pages 4-6... 15 mcq questions... with quite a number of diagrams!!! there were lotsa to copy... the question, the diagram, all 4 choices per question.. not to forget i couldn't take too much time copying or the students wouldn't have time to complete them...so i copied the first 5 questions ( the board could only take 5 questions), looked at the time, realised it wouldn't be a wise idea to continue copying the other 10 qns on the board... so i counted the no. of copies of pages 5 and 6 (on same sheet of paper) i had... 3..just nice..there were 3 without pg 5 , 3 without pg6...so i passed 3 of them page 5, then after 10 min, passed the same sheet of paper to those without pg 6.. wow... the students were not the only ones feeling nervous and racking their brains over how to answer the questions, i was too haha...
~'o's results released today...went to the hall to see how the school did... i don't really know anyone taking results this year, and i wasn't one of them there in the hall waiting to take results, but i could feel exactly the same feelings that i had felt 2 years back..sitting there, the same hall, the same scenario...still remember crying before results were released... sigh... looking back, that doesnt' seem so far away... though i wasn't the one taking results today, but somehow, when i saw the girls cheering, the girls crying, i felt sentimental too... wonder when 'a's will be released... very scared sigh...
