~wat's passion~ :.
~went for dsta final selection interview this morning. this interview went the most comfortably, but it was also the most flopped one haha.. ok maybe i shouldn't say flopped, but, the most "rejected" one. the 2 intervierwers were very nice. it wasn't tense or strung up in anyway. it was casual, sort of like a formal chit chat session..maybe that sounds contradictory but that's how i can describe it best.. formal but yet chit chat... it went something like that

intervierwer:"so what did u apply for?"
me:"mathematics"
inter:"oh math"
me:"ya math ... i was told in the first interview it was impossible to get a scholarship for math"
inter:"it's not impossible, but we only offer the most 1 or 2 for math, so we give to only the very very top in math"
me:"i see"
inter:"are u top 5 in the country in math?" *top 5 , not top 5 %
me:"no"
inter:"top 10?"
me:"no"
the above is a segment of the interview... i also learnt from the interview that angles in a triangle can add up to more than 180 degress... and also how to prove that there is no such thing as the largest prime... they asked if i wanted engineering, and i said i cannot be sure i will take up engineering cos seriously, i am not sure my interest lies in engineering... so well.. this interview.. haha... treat it as a comfortable formal chit chat... but yes, the interviewers kept emphasising that it is important to pursue my passion. if my passion is maths, i should go for it. he mentioned quite a number of fields that i could venture into, but i can't really remember the terms now... he, for one, studied maths in uni too! but didn't do anything related to math after graduating from uni. yes passion... i have been thinking... what is my passion? pursue my passion...passion...
