.: ~med checkup~ :.

~went for med check up and hep b screening at the university health and wellness centre at yusof ishak house, nus, on monday,with jess. there were many people there, some of whom were also soon-to-be-nus-undergrads. registered, took queue number. checked eyesight. oh dear... i think the astig in my right eye has increased a lot! i couldn't see anything! not that i couldn't "see", more of...the black bold lines that i could see clearly all blurred together, so i couldn't discern exactly what letter it was...oh dear... better go check soon...then came blood test for hep b screening. i told the nurse i was scared of blood. after drawing the blood, she waved the tube of blood at me and said,"look at your blood. are you going to faint now :p"... no i am not...haha...i have tried to change since very long ago, and i have improved a little..i will continue to overcome my fear of blood :) my blood continued to flow out after pasting the plaster, so i had to go back to the nurse again. this time, she said,"see la, scared of blood, now even more blood" don't worry, i am on the path to overcome the fear :p aft the blood test, had to wait to see the doc. while waiting, i realised that the receptionist had forgotten to direct me to go take urine test. so i went for the urine test. and because of that, i had to requeue.....finally came my turn to see the doc..quite fast...aft that, went for x-ray...then tada..done... the entire process took quite a few hours...cos of the waiting time...jess and I then went for lunch at the canteen, after which, we went ps to look for stuff. at 530, i met up with jane casie geraldine. talked about our courses over dinner. gera going accountancy at ntu, jane unsure of chi at ntu or nus, casie deciding bet ntu mass com and nus business... gd luck in your choices! oh yes, happy birthday casie!
~went back to hc yesterday to see the teachers. in order of "appearance", mrs foo, mr remedios, mr lee. ms ong was no where to be found....she wasn't in school... mr lee had a sore throat..i just recovered from one..haha.. hope he recovers soon!
~sigh...i spent so many hours last night trying to do up the slides, putting in pictures, cutting down on long sentences and putting in questions...i try to make it nice and "friendly", i put effort into it, but what do i get in return? sigh...sometimes, or, many times, it's very discouraging...
~official last day tomorrow...
