~are sundays family days? well, not exactly for me, cos my parents are usually very busy on sundays... everyday is a family day... these past few days, we have been going out as a family very frequently. to causeway point a few times, to bugis, where i went to yun nan book store. got netters. shall go back again in july when the other stocks come in. wa... one book costs more than a semester of jc sch fees. wa..heartpain... brought my siblings to national library too. was reaching out for a book when another book dropped down. hit my leg. pain. but i thought it would go away. unfortunately it didn't. when i looked down, i saw blood. one book! just one book, but it caused me quite a painful cut, and a bit of blood loss...went to the temple, where i accidently tripped at the stone edges, and sustained another little cut on my toe. a little bit more of blood lost. sigh. mum has also been spending the last few nights with me and my siblings, sleeping in the living room, playing a bit of mahjong at night. yest we went to causeway point for eye checkup. made new spectacles too. i was shocked when the optician said my deg decreased by 125 while my sis't went up by 100+. then later on, the names on the card were wrong. i pointed it out. but later it was (supposedly) rectified. then this morning, i realised sth just wasn't right. my sis's eye deg has always been 100+ higher than mine. it makes more sense for both of our eyesight to maintain our deg than for mine to decrease, and my sis's increase, both by 100+. the coincidence, was just too coincidental. then i looked at the figures, and suspected that the optician must have been recording my observations on my sister's card, and vice versa. that explains it. i voiced my suspicions to mum..but she was quite heated up just now... just said everything was right.. but i knew it wasn't. sigh... then later mum said she understood... gotta go back later to rectify the records. sigh sigh sigh... i think recently really spent a lot as a family. books, specs, entertainment etc. it's really not easy to earn $$ and sustain a living...
